DocWriter Library

Use the DocWriter Library in TPM to see a list of documents your organisation can select when choosing payment application, VAT Invoice, and payment certificate documents for a project.

Only users with DocWriter permissions will see this option in their Tools menu. To assign DocWriter permissions on the user profile, Oracle Support must first enable DocWriter for your organisation. Contact Oracle Support if you want to use this feature.

Note: The above video was taken in a North American instance of Textura Payment Management (TPM) so spelling and labels may be different than what you normally see when you use TPM.

DocWriter FAQs

What is a legacy document?

Legacy documents are those which were developed without using the DocWriter tool.  As additional DocWriter features have not yet been released, all templates in an organisation's library currently have the Legacy status.

When previewing templates, why is my project drop-down list different than that of another DocWriter user at my organisation?

The only projects users can preview are the same projects they have permission to access in Textura Payment Management. Permissions in TPM are unique to each individual organisation user. Access to projects in DocWriter is determined by which permissions you were assigned on the User Roles and Edit User pages.

Why can I not see signatures on my previews?

DocWriter will pull document samples for previewing, but they are not physically signed documents. To see where signatures would be placed on the template, select Highlight Signatures when selecting your preview criteria. This will show yellow markers for each signature on the document template in your generated sample.

How long will generated samples remain available?

Your most recent 20 generated samples will appear in your Preview Archive for the length of your DocWriter user session.
