Change Order Compliance
Use the application to view change order compliance and require the signed receipt of change orders.
Configuring Change Order Compliance
From the Payment Holds section on the Project Settings page, select the Require Change Order Compliance option. When selected, the application places a hold on payments for any contractor who bills for line items with non-compliant change orders.
- This setting requires compliance tracking for all Subcontractor change orders on a project.
- Users with the Compliance Manager will update the change order compliance status.
Viewing Change Orders
From the Subcontracts project menu at the top of any project page, select the Subcontract Change Orders page.
Updating the Change Order Compliance Status
- From the Subcontract Change Orders tab of the Change Orders page, find the row for the change order to update.
- From the drop-down menu in the Compliance Status column for the change order to edit, select a new status.
- A Success message displays, confirming your changes to the change order compliance have been saved.
- The application enforces change order holds once you approve the Subcontractor invoice.
Enforcing Holds
The application automatically applies a hold if two criteria are met:
- Change order Compliance is set to Non-Compliant
- The Subcontractor bills for a line item which includes a change order.
Removing Holds
Remove a change order compliance hold in two ways:
- Use the Change Orders page: Update the compliance status to Compliant or Not applicable.
- Use the Edit Payment Status page: Override the hold and release the payment.
Note: This override does not change the compliance status for the Subcontractor change orders. The hold may apply to future invoices.
