User Permissions List for General Contractors

Manage Projects

Create the Schedule of Values (SoV), manage subcontracts, enter invoices, initiate draws, allocate change orders, and reject lien waivers.

Manage Compliance

Set up compliance document requirements, such as insurance certificates; track compliance document status; track change order compliance; and place compliance holds.

Sign on Behalf of the Company

Sign documents, such as invoices, sworn statements, and lien waivers; approve invoices in the Parallel Multiple Approval of Subcontractor Invoices (MASI) workflow, and approve invoices in the Serial MASI workflow.

Approve Invoice

Approve and reject Subcontractor invoices.

Authorize Payments for Disbursement

Authorize payments to Subcontractors so the Disburser can release funds.

Disburse Project Funds

Release company funds for ACH payments per draw.

Disburse Enterprise Wide Funds

Release company funds for ACH payments across multiple projects and multiple draws.

Manage Owner Funding

Record Owner funding information by draw and track funding information across projects.

Note: Local Administrators and Owners acting as the General Contractor on their own projects can also access this permission.

Manage Classified Attachments

Designate attachments as classified, upload attachments, view attachments, and declassify attachments.

Manage TPA

Select or change Textura Payment Accelerator Program (TPA) settings. Users with Manage TPA permissions are automatically assigned the View All Organization Projects permission.

Create Projects

Add and set up new projects; create, manage, and view document sets; assign user roles; manage Conditional Approval Rules; and change project settings. Users with the Create Projects permissions automatically have the View All Organization Projects permission.

Manage Interfaces

Import and export accounting information between an ERP or accounting system and the TPM application and view all project imports and exports.

Account is for automated integration purposes

Only available when the Manage Interfaces permission is selected, this permission should be used if the user profile is intended for an automated user or interface system, rather than a human user who is assigned the Interface Manager role.

View All Organization Projects

View the details of any project your organization has on the application, whether or not you are assigned to it.

View Textura Analytics

View dashboards with analytical charts, tables, and data. Users only have access to Textura Analytics if your organization has at least five active projects on the application, or a Textura Administrator turns on Textura Analytics for you. For more information, contact your Textura Administrator.

DocWriter

Only available when your Textura representative enables the DocWriter Feature.

Select a DocWriter permission on the User Profile to determine what actions a DocWriter user may perform on TPM.

View Only: The user can view all documents available to your organization across all projects. You will not have Editing or Publishing permissions.

Notarize Documents

Electronically notarize documents. To notarize a document, you must use the Signer's computer when the documents are signed. You cannot notarize a document you are signing.

Laws about electronic notarization differ in each state. Before entering notary information on the application, familiarize yourself with your local state laws.
