Specified SoV Overview

Use the Specified SoV contract setting to control the Schedule of Values (SoV) for a Subcontractor on the application. You will not control the SoV for any on-system Sub-Tier organization working for the Subcontractor on the project. You can turn the Specified SoV setting on or off at any time from the Contract Maintenance or Subcontractor List pages.

If a subcontract uses a Specified SoV, only the General Contractor can edit the SoV. As the General Contractor on a contract using the Specified SoV setting, you can:

Create and change phase codes
Create and change phase code descriptions
Create SoV amounts
Adjust SoV amounts
Allocate change orders
Reallocate billed amounts
Reallocate retention.
