Entering a Subcontractor Invoice for Specified Billing

To enter the invoice for a Subcontractor with the Specified Billing setting:

  1. Initiate a Draw.
  2. From the Project Home page, select the Specify Invoicing link.

    Your Billing Workflow displays. Project and draw settings determine which tabs you see at the top of the page.

  3. If the draw allows progress billing, enter billing information on the Progress tab.
    • In the Work This Period column, enter an amount to bill.

      The value in the % Completed column updates in response to the value of work completed.

    • In the % Completed column, enter a number to bill based on percentage of work completed.

      The value in the Work This Period column updates in response to the percentage of work completed.

    • In the Material Stored This Period field, enter a dollar amount for material stored between the Period From and Period To dates.
  4. Select the Send & Continue button.

    If the draw allows retention billing or the project uses Contract Level Retention, the Retention tab displays.

  5. (Optional) From the Retention tab, request previously held retention as a part of your billing this draw.
  6. Select the Save & Continue button.

    The Review tab displays.

  7. Select the Save & Send to Sub button.

    A Next Steps dialog box displays. The dialog includes a message, confirming you successfully sent the invoice to the Subcontractor for signature and submission.

    If you have additional tasks, the dialog box will also include links to complete them.
