Approving Potential Change Orders

The application prompts a Subcontractor to View/Edit Potential Changes Orders after entering an invoice. Once the Subcontractor saves the potential change orders, you will receive a Potential Change Order Submitted email. The entered potential change orders display on your Edit Potential Change Orders page.

To approve potential change orders on the Edit Potential Change Orders page:

  1. Navigate to the Edit Potential Change Order Page
  2. From the Edit Potential Change Orders page, select a contract.
  3. Review the Title, Description, Change Order Amount, % Complete, and Claimed Amount of each potential change order.

    If the project uses the Allow edits to Potential Change Orders project setting, the table also includes a Status column.

    There are two possible statuses:

    • Open: The potential change order is included in the custom log
    • Closed :The potential change order is not included in the log.
  4. Enter the Assessed Amount.
  5. Enter a GC Reference Number.
  6. Select the Save Changes button.

    Note: The application does not notify Subcontractors when you makes edits to potential change orders.
