Starting an Import

To start an import job:

  1. Navigate to the Integration Home Page
  2. Select the Import Jobs tab.
  3. Select the + Import button.

    The Create Import Job dialog box displays.

  4. If your organization uses TexturaLink Cloud for integration:
    1. Select the type of records you want to import. The options you see are set by your organization and are based on the TLC adapter your organization uses. If you need to add additional record types, contact your Textura administrator.
    2. To import jobs from specific projects, select the projects from the Available Projects column and use the arrows to move it to the Selected Projects column.

      To find a specific project, type in the name in the filter row under Available Projects.

    3. From the Advanced Settings section, select the import date range.

      Notes: The following conditions apply when using the Import Date Range option:

      • Supported only for organizations using the CMiC ERP.
      • Available only when importing Subcontract Change Orders and/or Subcontract-New record types.
      • The maximum date range is 10 days.
      • Select up to 10 projects at a given time.
    4. Select Import.
  5. If your organization does not use Textura Link Cloud for integration:
    1. From the Browse file to upload drop-down, select the file you want to import.
    2. Select Import.

      Notes :

      • You can upload only one file at a time.
      • Files must be formatted to match the accounting system configured and in json, .txt, or . csv format.
