Enabling Notifications for Reports

When you enable notifications, Textura sends notifications when:

The email message always includes a secure download link to the report. To access the download link, sign in with your Textura credentials. Depending on your organization's settings and the report notification configuration, the email may also include the report as an attachment.

To enable notifications for a report:

  1. From the Reports page, start the report creation process by selecting Report Guided Process.
  2. From the Report Guided Process, select the report that you want to generate.
  3. In the Name & Output step, under Notification, select Enable Notifications to receive email and in-app notifications when the report is generated.
  4. (Optional) Select the Attach Report to Email checkbox to include the report as an email attachment.

    Note:

    • The Attach Report to Email checkbox is available only if your organization permits email attachments.
    • If a report exceeds 10MB, Textura includes only the download link in the notification email, even when report attachments are enabled. The email explains that Textura did not include the attachment because the report exceeded the size limit.
  5. In the Notification Recipients step, select the users who should receive report notifications. You can:
    • Select users from the list.
    • Use the search bar to find users.

Note: The list includes only users who have access to all selected projects or who have the View All Organization Projects permission.

The Notification Recipients step is displayed only when notifications are enabled.

You can view report notifications and manage your report notification subscriptions from the Messages page. See topic Messages for more information.
