EAS (External Activities Service) Interfaces

The OPERA External Activities System (EAS) interface provides the framework to share profile and activity scheduling between the OPERA Property Management System (PMS) and an External Activity Scheduling System (EAS). Guest profiles can be linked between the two systems though a lookup mechanism initiated from either side. Once linked, activities scheduled in the EAS are transmitted to the PMS in order to provide guest information from the front desk, or in the form of combined itineraries. Furthermore, cancellations made in the PMS can be propagated to the EAS in order to reduce missed appointments. The system is currently targeted toward spa, golf, and table reservations systems.
