About Items

Items are defined as any equipment or services (apart from function spaces and food and beverage) that are to be rented or sold to a customer as part of a Catering function and are configured under this classification. These items are grouped into logical entities called Item Classes to enable an efficient search for these objects and services when booking an Event. For example, you might have an Item Class called Audiovisual Equipment, under which you make available Items such as LCD projectors, projector screens, microphones, and so on. You must have Revenue Types configured before you create Item Classes and Items.
