Activity Setup

The Activity Setup screen is opened by selecting the Activity button on the Item - New/Edit screen. Activity Setup is used to set up and link an activity to an item. To link the activity to the item highlighted in the Item Inventory Setup grid, complete the following fields:

External System. The name of the external system. Select the down arrow to open a list of values of external systems or interfaces that are available for the activity setup. The external system selected from the list of values represents the external system in which the activity is housed.

Act. Status Code. The Status Code for the activity. Select the down arrow to open a list of values of status codes for activities. This code represents the initial status of the activity.

Act. Type. The type of activity. Select the down arrow to open a list of values of activity types or categories of activities. Activity type sets the type of activity and affects how the item is reported. Examples of activity types are horseback riding, golf, tennis, scuba diving, etc.

Act. Location Code. The location of the activity. Select the down arrow to open a list of values of location codes of where activities take place. This code represents where the activity will take place.
