Source Groups

Accessing from Configuration>Rate Management>Codes>Source Groups, use Source Groups for forecasting, reporting statistics, and for setting the standard for your corporate office and budget planning. You can define Source Groups on a property level. OPERA produces statistical reports showing revenue, number of guests, number of rooms occupied, average room rate, food and beverage revenue, and other revenue based on the source group attached to each guest reservation record. In most cases, property chains have set standard source groups to which their member properties must adhere. However, individual properties are free to determine what source information they require and what groups they will use to collect this information.

Source Groups allows properties to cluster source groups (single market segments under the Corporate main group such as Local Company, Contracted Rate, Corporate Day-use). You can then report your source statistics by main source groups or source group.

All Source Group Codes can be distributed to multiple properties from the Generic Template Configuration Form if the add-on license group OPP MHOT (Multi Property Base) has been activated.
