AWR Reports
AWR Reports include the following:
- Generate AWR
- View AWR
- SQL Reports Viewer
- SQL Statistics

Generate AWR
View AWR
Note: If the database connection has not been established, connect to the database by providing the required connection credentials when the database dialog box appears.
- Use any of the following methods to navigate to the Generate AWR tree information:
- From the SU search page, select Generate/View AWR and click Go.
or
- Select the DB Health Check menu.
- Under AWR Reports, expand Generate AWR and select View AWR.
- Select Begin Snapshot and End Snapshot from the dropdown list. If you wish to look only at the Outliers list, select the Outliers check box.

You can now view AWR details as shown in the image below.

- To download the AWR report, click the download icon on the top right corner of the page. Browse to the location where you want to save the AWR file and click Save. You will see the message, AWR report downloaded successfully. Additionally, if you want to view the AWR report in your default web browser, select Yes when 'The file has been successfully saved. Would you like to view the file in your browser?' dialog box appears.

- If you want to update the AWR report snapshot range (begin snap id and end snap id), change the Begin SnapID and End SnapID on the top horizontal bar, and then click Search.
SQL Reports Viewer
- Select DB Health Check from the left navigation menu.
If the database connection has not been established, connect to the database by providing the required connection credentials when the database dialog box appears.
- Under AWR Reports, expand Generate AWR and select SQL Reports Viewer.
- Select Begin Snapshot, End Snapshot and SQL Id from the dropdown list.
- To download the SQL report, click the download icon on the top right corner of the page. Browse to the location where you want to save the SQL report and click Save. You will see the message, SQL report downloaded successfully. Additionally, if you want to view the SQL report in your default web browser, select Yes when 'The file has been successfully saved. Would you like to view the file in your browser?' dialog box appears.
- If you want to update the SQL report snapshot range (begin snap id and end snap id), change the Begin SnapID and End SnapID on the top horizontal bar, and then click Search.
SQL Statistics
You can access any of the SQL Statistics information to view the details:
- SQL Ordered by Elapsed Time
- SQL Ordered by CPU Time
- SQL Ordered by User I/O Wait Time
- SQL Ordered by Gets
- SQL Ordered by Reads
View SQL Ordered by Elapsed Time
Note: If the database connection has not been established, connect to the database by providing the required connection credentials when the database dialog box appears.
- Use any of the following methods to navigate to the SQL Statistics tree information:
- From the SU search page, select the SQL statistics as SQL Ordered by Elapsed Time you wish to look at, and then click Go.

- Select DB Health Check menu.
- Under AWR Reports, expand SQL Statistics and select the SQL Statistics as SQL Ordered by Elapsed Time you wish to look at.
- Select Begin Snapshot and End Snapshot from the dropdown list. If you wish to look only at the Outliers list, select the Outliers check box.
Note: The Outliers list is tailor-made and eliminates SQLs that typically fit the provided criteria.
- Click Continue.
If required, you can adjust Begin SnapID and End SnapID from the top horizontal bar, and then click Search. You can also toggle between All SQLs and Outlier SQLs.
View SQL Ordered by CPU Time
Note: If the database connection has not been established, connect to the database by providing the required connection credentials when the database dialog box appears.
- Use any of the following methods to navigate to the SQL Statistics tree information:
- From the SU search page, select the SQL statistics as SQL Ordered by CPU Time you wish to look at, and then click Go.
or
- Select the DB Health Check menu.
- Under AWR Reports, expand SQL Statistics and select the SQL Statistics as SQL Ordered by CPU Time you wish to look at.
- Select Begin Snapshot and End Snapshot from the dropdown list. If you wish to look only at the Outliers list, select the Outliers check box.
Note: The Outliers list is tailor-made and eliminates SQLs that typically fit the provided criteria.
- Click Continue.
If required, you can adjust Begin SnapID and End SnapID from the top horizontal bar, and then click Search. You can also toggle between All SQLs and Outlier SQLs.
View SQL Ordered by User I/O Wait Time
Note: If the database connection has not been established, connect to the database by providing the required connection credentials when the database dialog box appears.
- Use any of the following methods to navigate to the SQL Statistics tree information:
- From the SU search page, select the SQL statistics as SQL Ordered by User I/O Wait Time you wish to look at, and then click Go.
or
- Select the DB Health Check menu.
- Under AWR Reports, expand SQL Statistics and select the SQL Statistics as SQL Ordered by User I/O Wait Time you wish to look at.
- Select Begin Snapshot and End Snapshot from the dropdown list. If you wish to look only at the Outliers list, select the Outliers check box.

- Click Continue.
If required, you can adjust Begin SnapID and End SnapID from the top horizontal bar, and then click Search. You can also toggle between All SQLs and Outlier SQLs.

- Under AWR Reports, expand SQL Statistics and select the SQL Statistics as SQL Ordered by Gets you wish to look at.
- Select Begin Snapshot and End Snapshot from the dropdown list. If you wish to look only at the Outliers list, select the Outliers check box.

- Click Continue.

- Select Begin Snapshot and End Snapshot from the dropdown list. If you wish to look only at the Outliers list, select the Outliers check box.
