Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop Administration Guide > Administering Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop > Configuring the Pin Mode for RecordsThe pin mode feature in Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop enables you to temporarily keep synchronized Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop records in Microsoft Outlook. Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop records that are kept in Microsoft Outlook can stay in Microsoft Outlook even if the records do not match your existing filters. For more information on filters, see Filters Reduce the Number of Oracle CRM On Demand Records That Are Available in Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop. By design, Oracle CRM On Demand Desktop records are automatically removed from Microsoft Outlook after a predefined time period. You can use the Control Panel to configure the pin mode for records and do the following:
