Enter the following command to retrieve the terminal
types and port numbers:
rtrv-trm
Enter the following command to inhibit each OAP
terminal displayed in the output from
1:
inh-trm:trm=x
where x is the port number.
Note:
The force parameter is required for the last OAP
terminal inhibited.
Enter the following command for each OAP terminal
inhibited in
2:
chg-trm:trm=x:type=none
where x is the port number.
If the message indicates the standby fixed disk is
corrupted, continue with
6.
If the message indicates the active fixed disk is
corrupted, continue with
5.
Enter the following command on the active GPSM-II
card to force it to become standby:
init-card:loc=x
where x is the card location stenciled on the shelf
of the system.
Enter the following command to copy the current and
backup database partitions on the active fixed disk, to the current and backup
database partitions on the standby fixed disk:
chg-db:action=repair
After the command is executed, the standby GPSM-II
card reboots, the old database data is purged from memory, and the new database
is loaded.
After the card has been reloaded (a message appears
to confirm completion of the load), enter the following command to verify the
database is consistent (same level as the other cards in the system):
rept-stat-card
Enter the following command for each OAP terminal
inhibited in
2:
chg-trm:trm=x:type=oap
where x is the port number.
Enter the following command to return the OAP
terminals to the in-service state:
