Working with Strategies

Companies need to set corporate performance goals and track how well the enterprise performed against these goals. EnterpriseTrack makes it easy for users to create a hierarchical map of strategies and link them to projects. The data at lower levels can be rolled up the hierarchy using user specified formula.

Within EnterpriseTrack, different Strategies are grouped under Categories. When the system is deployed, two default categories, Corporate and Organization are created. New categories can be created just as new Strategy nodes can be created within each category.

All categories, except the Organization category are identical in their behavior. Your company's organizational hierarchy is displayed within the Organization category.

Multiple alignment trees can be created within EnterpriseTrack. The names of each tree (E.g. Process, Strategy, Balance Scorecard etc.) are displayed in the left navigation bar. The navigation and functionality within each tree are identical. The configuration of the fields, the independent permission structure, and the data contained within each tree provides independent meaning to each tree.
