Using Control Buttons

The following table lists the control buttons displayed on the Project Listing page and the Project Roadmap, and non-WBS activity pages. You can view or hide the 4 toolbars (Print-Data, Editing, Views, and Row-Action Menu). From the View menu, select Toolbars and select or deselect the checkbox associated with each toolbar.

Note: You can also use the View and Data menus to perform all the actions described below.

Control Buttons

Description

Expand the tree.

Close (or collapse) all the activities.

Add a child node (E.g. task)

Add a peer node (E.g. Tollgate)

 

Select from a sub-menu.

Edit selected activity.

Delete selected activity.

Copy selected node. Leaf nodes can be copied. If the button is not enabled, make sure you can see the properties of the leaf node (e.g. Task, not Gate) in the properties pane.

Cut selected node.

Paste selected node.

Paste Special.

 

Copy dates to Baseline.

Copy dates from Plan.

View documents and tools associated with the roadmap.

Edit all activities on the Roadmap page.

Load your settings. Click on the selector button to choose from the options.

Save settings. Click on the selector button to choose from the options.

Reset settings. Click on the selector button to choose from the options.

Print Roadmap grid. Pop ups must be disabled.

Export roadmap grid to a CSV file.

Personalize roadmap grid. You can choose the columns you want displayed on the Roadmaps page.

Turn on/off the filter row.

Turn on/off the group by column functionality. If enabled, you can customize the projects page to show project summary based on your filter criteria.

Turn on/off the pivot functionality. If enabled, you can generate custom pivot tables from the project list page.
