Simphony does not support remote access to the Android desktop for certified support applications (for example, Bomgar, Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP), and so on).
Android devices only operate the Simphony POS client application and cannot host shared services that other devices might access.
Android devices do not support the Check and Posting Service (CAPS). Therefore, the property must use at least one device with a Microsoft operating system in addition to the Android device. Oracle Hospitality recommends that this device be an Oracle MICROS Workstation 5a (POSReady) or Oracle MICROS PC Workstation 2015.
