Add Menus and Items to Events

In this video you will learn how to add menus and items to events. First find an

event and then go to event resources. Let's get started. In OPERA Cloud go to

bookings, events, and then select manage events. On the manage events screen, if

you are logged into a hub, you must select a property. Next, I click the

property magnifying glass and select a property from the list. And then click

select. In this example, I deleted the dates to find all the events for the

property. Then I'll click search. Here I can see the block ID, the date range for

the events and other search options. I can click modify the search criteria to

change the search results. Click the I want to menu and go to event resources.

Now I can see an event list in the column on the left. I can see the first

event is highlighted and the resources for this event appear on the right.

Next I'll scroll down to select the menu tab. You can click the menu tab to open

the menu drawer.

On the menu tab I'll click the event type magnifying glass to select multiple

event types and then click select. Then I'll click search.

Each event type selected displays different menus related to the event

type. To find the menu items I must click the plus sign and then I can select a

menu. In this example I select plated lunch from the list. You can click the

menu name to see the menu items. Check the box include or remove a menu item.

Next, I click back to menus. You can see the number of menus added

reflects the number of event attendees. In this example I selected lunch and

breakfast and now I can add lunch or breakfast menus to the selected event.

And then scroll down to click Save.

Now I can see the plated lunch menu is added to the highlighted event.

Next I select the event type magnifying glass and check dinner. Then click select

to find dinner related menus. Then I'll click search. I'll click the plus sign to

expand the option. And click to select the cash bar.

I can click the option to save and add more to stay on the menu screen and

continue saving menus to the event. Next I click the plus sign to expand the

reception menus and select the Hibiscus menu option from the list. In this

example, I'll scroll down and click Save to add these menus to the event.

Here I can see all the menus I've just added to the event.

I can click the items tab to add other resources to the event.
