In this video you will learn how to move a reservation in the arrival status to the advanced check-in state.

Advanced check-in allows the guests to post charges to their reservation folio their master bill for the hotel.

Let's get started. Navigate to the OPERA Cloud application and find the list of expected arrival

reservations for the current business date.

Then click the confirmation number.

The reservation must have a valid payment method selected. Then click on "I want to" and

select check-in.

Next click the advanced check-in option.

The expected time of return screen you can enter the time the guest expects to be back to the hotel.

You can also add a related comment.

Select the receive external notifications checkbox to opt in the guest to receive notifications about their reservation.

To add a new phone number to the profile select the add to profile checkbox.

If you do not check the box this email or phone number is connected only to the reservation and not to the profile.

Then select save.

Click OK to confirm moving the reservation to the advanced check-in state.

Now you can select a room, change

the payment method attached to the reservation, and you can create room keys for the guests if this option is configured for your hotel.

When it's time to check in the reservation you can click the complete check-in option at the top of the reservation to check in the guest.
