Configuring Membership Rate Groups

Rate Groups are used within the setup of point calculation rules for Membership Types. Within a rule, you may specify if points are calculated by a rate group. You can identify which rate codes belong within the rate group so that OPERA Cloud calculates points based on the codes selected here. For example, you may create a rate group called Package and within this group, you can select the package rate codes. When this rate group is applied to a calculation rule, points are calculated if the reservation rate code is included in this rate group.

Adding a Membership Rate Group

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, then Membership Management, then select Rate Groups.

  2. Click New and enter the following details:

    1. Code: Enter the membership rate group code.

    2. Description: Enter the description for the rate group.

    3. Sequence: Enter a number that controls the position of this code in listings. Codes without a sequence number assigned are listed in alphabetical order following codes with a sequence assigned.

    4. Select one or rate codes from the Available panel then use the greater than symbol (>) to move your selection to the Selected panel.

      Note:

      Use the filter to refine the search; enter value and click Go.
  3. Click Save.

Editing a Membership Rate Group

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, then Membership Management, then select Rate Groups.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the rate group and click Vertical Ellipse and select Edit.

  4. Update the details.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting a Membership Rate Group

  1. From the Administration menu, select Client Relations, then Membership Management, then select Rate Groups.

  2. Enter search criteria, click Search.

  3. Select the rate group and click Vertical Ellipse and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.
