Configuring Delivery Management

Delivery Management is available for you to configure the email, SMS and SFTP (for Scheduled Reports) gateway details for delivery of OPERA Cloud reports, guest stationery and other messaging such as Queue room notifications.

The following configuration options are available.

Configuring Report Delivery

Editing Report Email Delivery

  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, and then select Delivery Management.

  2. Select General and click Search.

  3. Click Edit and enter the following details:

    1. Property: Enter or select the property.

    2. Activate Email Delivery: Select to activate email delivery functionality.

    3. From Email Address: Enter the sender email address.  You can set a "display name" along with the email address, If you do so, enclose the email address in < and >.

    4. (SMTP) Server Name: Enter the FQDN of SMTP Server (Oracle SMTP server).

    5. User ID: Enter the user ID for SMTP server.

    6. Password: Enter the password for SMTP server.

    7. Email Subject: Enter the subject that is to appear in the email message.

  4. Click Save.

Deleting Report Email Delivery

  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, and then select Delivery Management.

  2. Select General and click Search.

  3. Click Vertical Ellipse and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.

Configuring SFTP Report Delivery

Adding SFTP Report Delivery
  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, then select Delivery Management.

  2. Select General and click Search.

  3. In the General section > SFTP Delivery Settings, click New and enter the following:
    1. Property: Enter or select the property.

    2. Destination: Enter the SFTP endpoint.

    3. Description: Enter a description.

  4. Click Save.

Editing SFTP Report Delivery:

  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, then select Delivery Management.

  2. Select General and click Search.

  3. In the General section > SFTP Delivery Settings, select the SFTP entry, click the Vertical ellipsis and then select Edit.

  4. Update details.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting SFTP Report Delivery

  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, then select Delivery Management.

  2. Select General and click Search.

  3. In the General section > SFTP Delivery Settings, select the SFTP entry, click the Vertical ellipsis and then select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.

Configuring Reservation Confirmation Delivery

Editing Reservation Confirmation Email Delivery

  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, and then select Delivery Management.

  2. Select Confirmations and click Search.

  3. Click Edit and enter the following details:

    1. Property: Enter or select the property.

    2. Activate Email Delivery: Select to activate email delivery functionality.

    3. HTML Format Delivery.: Select to generate email as embedded HTML.

      Note:

      All images included in the stationery (such as logos) must be available on a publicly accessible web-server.
    4. From Email Address: Enter the sender email address.  You can set a "display name" along with the email address, . If you do so, enclose the email address in < and >.

    5. (SMTP) Server Name: Enter the FQDN of SMTP Server (Oracle SMTP server).

    6. User ID: Enter the user ID for SMTP server.

    7. Password: Enter the password for SMTP server.

    8. Email Subject: Enter the subject that is to appear in the email message. You can use conditional blocks to dynamically generate a subject line
      <?><Status>[='RESERVED']Reservation confirmation #<ConfirmationNumber> for <ResortFullName></?> <?><Status>[='CANCELLED']Reservation cancellation #<CancellationNo> for <ResortFullName></?>
    9. Email Body: You can configure an email body when HTML delivery is not enabled. The reservation confirmation is attached in PDF format. Use the rich text editor to enter text and select merge codes to display reservation-specific values in the email body. Select the Merge Codes button to view and select from the list to insert merge code into the message body. For example, name and confirmation number merge code can be inserted. Select the Conditions button to insert condition blocks of text in the message. All merge codes will be inserted in the position where your cursor is placed. See Using the Rich Text Editor.

  4. Click Save.

Deleting Reservation Confirmation Email Delivery

  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, and then select Delivery Management.

  2. Select Confirmations and click Search

  3. Click Vertical Ellipse and select Delete.

  4. Click Delete to confirm.

Configuring Confirmation SMS (Text Message) Delivery

  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, and then select Delivery Management.

  2. Select Confirmations and click Search.

  3. In the Text Message Delivery Settings panel, click Edit and enter the following details:
    1. Delivery Method:
      1. URL (HTTP POST): Post to URL.

      2. Email: Send as email (email to sms). See Using the Rich Text Editor.

    2. Partner/User ID:Enter the Partner ID or User ID for the delivery provider. This is the Text Messaging Provider name.

    3. Service Type/Server: Enter the service type or SMTP email server address.

    4. Service ID/Account: Enter the service ID or SMTP email server account.

    5. Password: Enter the SMTP email password.

    6. URL: Enter the URL address for the Text Messaging Provider.

    7. URL Parameter Format:Select Text or XML.

    8. Timeout in seconds: Enter the delivery timeout in seconds for the message. Any message exceeding this limit will be timed out.

    9. Message Format: . For email to SMS enter or select the following from the list of values: <TO_MOBILE>@<URL_NAME>. The <URL_NAME> tag is the value from the URL field..

    10. Text Message: Use the rich text editor to enter text and select merge codes to display reservation-specific values in the message. Select the Merge Codes button to view and select from the list to insert merge code into the message body.   2. Select Billing Folios and click Search.

  3. ClickEdit and enter the following details:

    1. Property: Enter or select the property.

    2. Activate Email Delivery: Select to activate email delivery functionality.

Configuring SMS (Text Message) to Guest

Used to send Queue room ready notifications to guests via SMS

  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, and then select Delivery Management.

  2. Select Text to Guest and click Search.

  3. In the Text Message Delivery Settings panel, click Edit and enter the following details:
    1. Delivery Method:
      1. URL (HTTP POST): Post to URL.

      2. Email: Send as email (email to sms). See Using the Rich Text Editor.

Used to send Queue room rush room notifications to Housekeeping via SMS

  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, and then select Delivery Management.

  2. Select Text to Housekeeping and click Search.

  3. In the Text Message Delivery Settings panel, click Edit and enter the following details:
    1. Delivery Method
      1. URL (HTTP POST): Post to URL.

      2. Email: Send as email (email to sms). See Using the Rich Text Editor.
