Configuring Comp Authorizer Groups

Adding Comp Authorizer Groups

  1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Comp Accounting, and then select Comp Authorizer Groups.

  2. Click New and complete the following fields:
    1. Property. Select or confirm the property.

    2. Code. Enter a code that identifies the authorizer group.

    3. Description. Enter a description of the authorizer group.

    4. Rate Code. Select a rate code to assign to this authorizer group. When a comp routing instruction is set up using a comp routing code (with Inherit Rate Code selected) and the authorizer has a rate code selected, this authorizer group rate code will be applied to the reservation and not the one selected.

  3. Click New to associate comp routing codes and transaction codes to the authorizer group. The Manage Comp Routing Instructions screen appears.

    1. Enter the comp routing or transaction code in Search filter and click Search. You can also select Comp Routing Codes and/or Transaction Codes to filter on one of these types of codes.

    2. Highlight the comp routing or transaction codes in the Available pane that you want to include in this authorizer group (hold down the Ctrl key to select multiple codes).

    3. Click the directional arrow button to move the selected codes to the Selected pane.

    4. Daily Credit Limit. Enter the daily credit limit for the comp routing or transaction codes. This is the credit limit which the authorizer group cannot exceed while settling the comp windows.

    5. Transfer Limit. Enter the per-instance transfer limit for the comp routing or transaction codes. This is the limit which the authorizer group cannot exceed while routing or transferring charges from cash windows to comp windows.

  4. Click Save to save the comp routing instruction configuration and exit the screen.

  5. Click Save to save the authorizer group.

Editing Comp Authorizer Groups

  1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Comp Accounting, and then select Comp Authorizer Groups.

  2. Select or confirm the Property.

  3. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  4. In the search results, select the comp authorizer group and click the row-level vertical ellipsis.

  5. Click Edit.

  6. Update the configuration and click Save.

Deleting Comp Authorizer Groups

  1. From the Administration menu, select Financial, select Comp Accounting, and then select Comp Authorizer Groups.

  2. Select or confirm the Property.

  3. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  4. In the search results, select the comp authorizer group and click the row-level vertical ellipsis.

  5. Click Delete.
