Configuring Export Mapping Types and Codes

Adding Export Mapping Types

1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Export Mapping then select Export Types/Codes.

2. Click New and complete the following

   1. Property: Enter or select the property from the list

   2. Mapped To:  Select the type of code in OPERA Cloud to which the export mapping type relates and for which a value will be defined using export mapping codes.

   3. Type:  Enter a unique code for this export mapping type. 

   4. Description: Enter a description for this export mapping type.

3. Click Save or click Save and Continue to add another.

Adding Export Mapping Codes to Export Mapping Types

Once export mapping types have been configured, you can edit an export mapping type and configure the export mapping codes for that export mapping type.

1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Export Mapping then select Export Types/Codes.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. From the search result, select the mapping type then click the vertical ellipsis and select Edit.

   1. Expand the Mapping Codes section

   2. Click New and complete the following

      1. Mapping Codes: Enter the export mapping code to associate with an OPERA Cloud code

      2. Description: Enter a description of the mapping code

      3. Column Type: Select a data type from the list

      4. Sequence: Enter a number to indicate the position of this export mapping code value when multiple export mapping codes are associated with the export mapping type. During the export OPERA Cloud uses a function that retrieves all mapping codes for the export mapping type with one command

      5. Required: Select this check box if a value must be specified for this export mapping code when it is associated with an OPERA Cloud code. 

      6. Use LOV: Select this check box to present a list of values for this export mapping code. You can then select from that LOV when specifying a value for this export mapping code when assigning it to an OPERA Cloud code. Otherwise, the assigned value can be entered directly.

         1. LOV Name: Select value from the list to choose the LOV that will present the values for this export mapping code when linking export mapping codes to OPERA Cloud codes. For more information, see: Configuring UDF Groups.

      7. Click Save.

4. Click Save.

Editing Export Mapping Types & Codes

1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Export Mapping then select Export Types/Codes.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. From the search result, select the mapping type then click the vertical ellipsis and select Edit.

4. Update details.

5. Expand the Mapping Codes section.

6. Select the code, then click vertical ellipsis and select Edit.

   1. Update Mapping Code details.

   2. Click Save.

7. Click Save.

Deleting Export Mapping Codes

1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Export Mapping then select Export Types/Codes.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. From the search result, select the mapping type then click the vertical ellipsis and select Edit.

4. Expand the Mapping Codes section.

   1. Select the code, then click vertical ellipsis and select Delete.

   2. Click Delete to confirm.

Deleting Export Mapping Types 

1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Export Mapping then select Export Types/Codes.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. From the search result, select the mapping type then click the vertical ellipsis and select Delete.

4. Click Delete to confirm

Copying Export Mapping Types/Codes to Other Properties

You can copy export mapping types/codes to other properties from a Hub location.

1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, select Export Mapping then select Export Types/Codes.

2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

3. From the search result, select the mapping type then click the vertical ellipsis and select Copy.

   1. Property: Enter or select the source property from the list.

   2. Mapping Types/Codes: Select one or more codes from the list.

   3. Target Property: Enter or select one or more properties from the list.

   4. Click Save.

   5. Review the details, then click Copy and Continue.
