Managing Out of Order Rooms

Out of order rooms are deducted from room inventory; reservation cannot be allocated to a room in OO status.

Adding Out of Order Rooms

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, select Room Management, and then select Out of Order.

  2. Click New.

  3. Enter the search criteria and click Search.

  4. Select one or more rooms in the result.

  5. Click Set Out of Order and complete the following:

    1. From Date: Select the desired dates to change the rooms' status.

    2. Nights: Add or remove number of nights for which the room needs to out of order.

    3. Through Date: The room will automatically be returned to inventory during end of day processing for the Through Date.

    4. Return Status: Return Status Select the status that the room(s) when returned to service.

  6. Click Set Out of Order.

Editing Out of Order Rooms

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, select Room Management, and then select Out of Order.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. From the search result, select the room then click the vertical ellipsis and select Edit.

  4. Update the details.

  5. Click Set Out of Order.

Deleting Out of Order Rooms

  1. From the OPERA Cloud menu, select Inventory, select Room Management, and then select Out of Order.

  2. Enter search criteria and click Search.

  3. From the search result, select the room then click the vertical ellipsis and select Delete.

  4. Update the details.

  5. Click Delete Out of Order to confirm.
