Prerequisites for Desktop ID Scanning
With an active ID Document scanning service (OPP_IDS), you can configure and enable scanning of identification documents from a validated partner scanning solution. ID scanning is available in the Identification panel of a guest or contact profile and also as part of the reservation check-in steps. On completion of an ID scan, you are presented with the profile information comparison screen, enabling you to retain or overwrite existing values obtained from the scan. In addition to the document data, an image of the ID Document may be captured and securely stored as an attachment to the profile.
Supported ID Documents Types
Passport, Visa, Driver License, and ID Card.
