Configuring Custom Message Texts for Stationery

This option enables you to configure custom messages strings to output on stationery. When the Multi-language OPERA Control is active you can also add translation for each message string so that the correct text is fetched and output based on the profile language.

This feature can be used to add promotional text or other text strings that you want to include in the generated document. The message text can then be updated in OPERA Cloud anytime in the future without having to make further modifications to the stationery template. There are two message codes per stationery template, these message codes are suffixed with the property_code to support different messages per property.

  1. From the Administration menu, select Interfaces, and select Report Text Configuration.
  2. Enter search criteria and select the merge code which matches the template name you intend to update. For example, sample_guest_confirmation_text1 for the confirmation letter.
  3. Click Search.
  4. Select item in the search result, click on the Vertical Ellipse.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Add your custom text in the Reports Text box.
  7. Click Manage Translation to added translated text. Enabled when the (multi-language OPERA Control is Active.
  8. Click Save.
