Configuring Event Types

Event Types describe the kind of activity taking place during a given meal period, such as meeting, lunch, exhibits, and so on. In addition, Event Types can streamline the booking process by defaulting start and end times. Event Types can also be linked to meal periods and used in forecasting, tracking, and posting event revenue.

Event types are also referenced in other areas of configuration, for example, when defining menus and menu items.
