Configuring Function Space Locations

Use the Function Space Locations screen to configure where a function space is located on the property, for example, the main building or outside. This can be helpful in the Function Diary when filtering for a suitable function space.

The Locations are assigned to the function space using the Function Space Setup screen. For more information, see : Configuring Function Spaces.

Adding a Location

  1. Select the Administration menu, select Inventory, select Function Space Management, and then select Locations.

  2. Click New and complete the following fields:

    1. Property. Enter or confirm the property name.

    2. Code. Enter a code for the function space location, such as MAIN.

    3. Description. Enter a description for the function location, such as Main Building.

    4. Manage Translations. Select to open the multi-language descriptions screen and configure a translated descriptions for each language.

  3. Click Saveto save and close the record.

Editing a Location

  1. On the Locations screen, enter search criteria and click Search.

  2. In the search results, select the code and click the vertical ellipsis.

  3. Click Edit.

  4. Make the required change to the Description field.

  5. Click Save.

Deleting a Location

You can delete a Location only if it is not assigned to a Function Space.

  1. On the Locations screen, enter search criteria and click Search.

  2. In the search results, select the code and click the vertical ellipsis.

  3. Click Delete.
