Using OPERA Cloud Reports

00:05

Reports are a valuable tool for managing, tracking, and analyzing OPERA Cloud data.

00:10

OPERA Cloud includes a number of predefined standard reports. In this

00:14

video you will learn how to view, download, email, or print reports. Let's

00:19

get started. In Opera Cloud go to reports and then select run reports. On the run

00:26

report screen I can enter the report name or select a report group from the

00:30

list to search for a report. In this example I select the guests in house

00:34

report group from the list and click search.

00:43

Next, I scroll down to select the guests in house by room number report

00:59

Then, I select the edit report parameters option to define the data for the report.

01:04

In this example, I select the VIP only checkbox to include only the

01:09

reservations that have a VIP code attached to the primary profile. The VIP

01:13

code option is available when the VIP application function in profiles is

01:18

configured and set to Y. I can define any additional report parameters. Next, I

01:23

scroll down and select the checkbox to include notes on the report. Once I

01:27

select the notes checkbox I now have the option to include internal notes. Now, I

01:32

can download the report as an HTML, RTF XML, delimited or delimited data file or

01:39

I can email the report. In this example I click to preview and download the report.

01:45

I can see the notes are added to the report as I selected the option to

01:49

include the notes when defining the report parameters. Now I can view,

01:53

download, or print a PDF of the report.
