Customizing Synchronization

The connector_configuration.xml file identifies the objects that Siebel CRM Desktop synchronizes. It includes synchronization settings that affect the following types of filters:

  • Deduplication filters. It uses special criteria that the connector_configuration.xml file describes to determine if an item already exists in the Siebel database when Siebel CRM Desktop synchronizes an item from Outlook to the Siebel database.   • Preset filters. Defines preset filters for a custom synchronization. These presets help the user to synchronize only the data that the user requires. You can configure any filter preset as the default.
