You can edit a workflow. However, you cannot edit all the properties of a workflow if one or more instances of it are already running. For running workflows, your changes are limited only to the steps and tasks that have not yet occurred.
To edit a workflow:
To Edit a Workflow instance’s template; please click the hyperlink on the Workflow Name. This will open up the Workflow Editor of the respective workflow.
