Cutting, Copying, and Pasting Data

Use the standard Cut, Copy, and Paste features to save time while working with a variety of items in the application. For example, instead of creating a new user from scratch, administrators might add a new user by simply copying and pasting an existing entry on the Users page for a similar user.

The steps for copying and pasting the following types of data in the application are essentially the same:

To copy and paste a value:

  1. Click Row Actions and select Copy or Cut.
  2. Navigate to the supported destination for the new copied item, click Row Actions and select Paste.
  3. If it becomes active, click Save.
