You can have a conversation about an activity with your project manager using the Discussion dialog box. If you have the relevant privilege, you can also delete comments you have made from the conversation if they are no longer relevant. The conversation is saved with the activity and is available for future reference.
To send a message to your project manager:
- Select an activity.
- In the activity pane, select Discussion (Ctrl+Alt+D).
- In the Discussion dialog box, type a message and select Post.
Tips
- If there are other team members assigned to the activity, you will also see their conversations in the dialog box.
- Your project manager uses P6 to view and respond to messages you post in the Discussion dialog box.
- Anyone who has access to the activity in P6 can view the conversations.
- To delete a comment, select Delete.
