Disabling the Windows Firewall

The Windows Firewall, which is enabled by default on Windows systems, prevents DCOM connections from functioning. You must disable the firewall on the controller and each DJS server.

To disable the Windows Firewall, perform the following steps:

  1. From the Windows Control Panel, click Windows Firewall.
  2. In the General tab of the Windows Firewall dialog, select Off. then click OK.
