Configuring Team Member Email Notification Services Settings

When you set a user as a reviewer for status updates or timesheets in P6, you can have them receive notifications about pending status updates or timesheets from team members using the P6 Team Member interfaces. You can also have users receive notifications about their status update and timesheets which have been approved or rejected.

Note: To set a user as a reviewer for timesheets or status updates, see the P6 Help for information on P6 Team Member interfaces.

To set your team member notification settings:

  1. Open the Primavera P6 Administrator.
  2. In the Configurations drop-down list, select your configuration.
  3. In the sidebar select Services/Infrastructure Services.
    1. Select Timesheet reviewers if you want all users configured as a timesheet approval manager or delegated to approve timesheets to receive en email once a day listing all timesheets pending their approval. Leave this field clear if you want the timesheet approvers to receive no email notifications.
    2. Select Timesheet users if you want all timesheet users to receive an email listing all their timesheets which have been approved and rejected since the last time the service ran. Users who have not had a timesheet approved or rejected since the last service run time will not receive an email. Leave this field clear if you want timesheet users to receive no email notifications.
    3. Select Status update reviewers if you want all users configured as a status update reviewer to receive en email once a day listing all status updates pending their review. Leave this field clear if you want the status update reviewers to receive no email notifications.
    4. Select Status update users if you want all users to receive an email listing all their status updates which have been approved and rejected since the last time the service ran. Users who have not had a status update approved or rejected since the last service run time will not receive an email. Leave this field clear if you want status update users to receive no email notifications.
    5. In the Service Run Time drop-down menu, select the time of day the service will poll the database for pending timesheets and status updates and send the email notification.

      The default value is 12AM.
