Including Stamps in Documents

After you include markups on a document that you have reviewed, you can follow these instruction to include a stamp in order to indicate the validity of your comments. To learn who to import stamps from AutoVue to Unifier, Refer to the Using User-Defined Stamps in the Unifier User Guide.

To include a stamp in a document:

  1. Open the comments for your document.
  2. You can do this from the comments window, or from the BP attachment viewer.
  3. Add your comment.
  4. Click the markup icon to add markup.
  5. Click the stamp icon, on the AutoVue window.
  6. Select a stamp that you want to include in your document. The system places the stamp on your document.

To update the value for any of the editable attributes, or fields, in your stamp:

  1. Open the stamp properties (double-click on the stamp).
  2. Make changes and save.

After you are done with updating or changing your markup, ensure that you save (Save Markup) your markup on AutoVue Stamp.

When you post your comment, the system saves your stamp (as a markup), along with your comment, on you document.
