The Navigator displays the project-related Unifier features that you have permission to access. Depending upon the modules your company has set up and your access permissions, the following project functions are available in the Navigator.
The list below shows the default Navigator appearance. Your navigator may differ, but the basic functionality will be the same. The company administrators can configure the User mode Navigator (Company Workspace > Admin mode > Configuration > User Mode Navigator) to better suit business needs. For example, your company administrator can create additional nodes to store business process records, renaming some of the nodes mentioned below, an so forth.
Based on the deployment of your user mode navigators, Unifier displays the Tasks, Notifications, and Drafts nodes in the respective Company Workspace and Project/Shell (User mode). The following table provides short description about the default Navigator nodes (Company Workspace and Project/Shell).

Summary | The Project Summary provides a snapshot of the overall project. You can use the Summary - Standard View or customize your own summary page (Summary - User View). Refer to Unifier Programs, Shells, and Projects User Guide for details. |
Alerts | You can create customized alerts to alert you to a condition or event in Unifier that you specify. Refer to Unifier Programs, Shells, and Projects User Guide for details. |
E-Signatures | When a Send for E-Signature action is taken, and one or more documents are sent to Unifier users (Internal users), then an entry is made in the E-Signatures node to enable the user to act on the E-Signatures task. |
Tasks | Not available for View-Only projects. Lists current business process tasks that have been assigned to you. Refer to Unifier General User Guide for details. |
Notifications | Available for View-Only project, but you cannot add general comments. |
Drafts | Not available for View-Only projects. Lists the drafts of the business processes. |
Mailbox | An internal Unifier email feature that allows Unifier project team members to communicate with each other and maintain a record of the communications. For projects with View-Only or Inactive status, Mailbox is available for viewing, but you cannot send, edit or delete messages. The Mailbox is also the repository that collects external emails (and attachments) related to the project. These emails can come from project members or from external users who do not use Unifier. From the Mailbox, project users can forward the emails to appropriate members, flag them for review, and reply to them. In addition, these external emails can be linked to business process records. Information | In a project, this node has two sub-nodes: Directory and General. The Directory node lists the project team members. The General node lists the simple-type business processes. Refer to Unifier Programs, Shells, and Projects User Guide for details. |
Gates | Displays project phase and gates information, and enables manual or automatic advancement of project phases. Refer to Unifier Programs, Shells, and Projects User Guide for details. |

Configurable Modules | Provides a flexible coding structures that allow you to analyze your data. The Configurable Modules node behaves like any other module in the Unifier, and you can have up to 25 Configurable Managers. Refer to Unifier Managers User Guide for details. |
Data Manager | A collection of BP logs storing project-level business processes not stored in project logs. |
Cost Manager | Access project-level Cost Manager functions (cash flow, cost sheet, earned value, funding, schedule of values). Refer to Unifier Managers User Guide for details. |
