You can use CSV and Restful Services to create a BP Record or Line Item with Line Item Data Picker. When you export your CSV template, the Line Item Data Pikcer are shown and the direction is set as an input or both, in the Integration tab in uDesigner.
When you create a record or line items using a csv import:
- If the CSV input request has Line item Data Picker values, then the following validations need to be done:
- The associated data picker has a record selected. If a record is not selected, then Unifier displays the message: <value> is invalid value for Line item Data Picker <DE name>.
- The record selected verifies that the line item belongs to the selected record. If not verified, then Unifier displays the message: <value> is invalid value for Line item Data Picker <DE name>.
- The line item exists.
If it does, then Unifier runs the query conditions defined for the Line Item Data Picker.
If it does not, then Unifier displays the message: <value> is invalid value for Line item Data Picker <DE name>.
Similarly, all the following Restful Services support Line Item Data Pickers. The validations are the same validations for users who try to create record using CSV import.
