Process of Using the Siebel PRM CHAMP Planning Module

To use the CHAMP Planning Module in Siebel PRM, you perform the following tasks:

  1. Creating CHAMP Metrics

  2. Creating Partnership Initiatives

  3. Creating Partner Plans

  4. Approving the Plan Jointly with the Partner

  5. Executing the CHAMP Plan

  6. Evaluating Partner Performance

  7. Reviewing Partner Performance

As shown in this diagram, the steps the brand owner performs are as follows:

  1. Create corporate-wide partnership initiatives.

    1. Enroll partners into the partnership initiatives.

    2. Create a partner plan for every participating partner.

    3. Enter plan highlights.

    4. Enter detailed plan objectives.

    5. Associate plan objectives to partnership initiatives.

    6. Enter action plans for every objective.

    7. Assign resources to action plans/assign opportunities to revenue objectives.

    8. Review the partner plan for interval approval.

  2. Is the plan approved internally?

    If yes, then:

    1. Publish the partner plan to the partner.

    2. Partner reviews the plan for partner approval.

    If no, then return to step 1h.

  3. Is the plan approved by the partner?

    If yes, then go to step 4.

    If no, then review the plan with the partner for any changes.

    Keep reviewing the plan until you and the partner agree on the plan, then go to step 4.

  4. Change the status of the partner plan to "Jointly Approved".

  5. Enter any public or private notes related to the partner plan.

  6. Track partner performance against partner plans during the plan period.

  7. Compare and evaluate performance of multiple partners at the end of the plan period.

  8. Reward the top performing partners.

  9. Repeat the partner planning process.

  1. View the partner plan published by the brand owner.

    1. View plan highlights.

    2. View plan objectives.

    3. Review the plan for approval.

  2. Is the plan approved?

    If yes, then go to step 3.

    If no, then get feedback from the brand owner and return to step 1c.

  3. Change the status of the partner plan to "Jointly Approved".

  4. Enter action plans for every objective.

  5. Assign resources to every action plan/assign opportunities to revenue objectives.

  6. Track your performance against the plan during the plan period.

  7. Evaluate your performance at the end of the plan period.

  8. Repeat the planning process.
