ID 36970010 - BACKPORT TO 8.1.1 - SOURCE FILTER APPLIED POST LOADING DATA INTO TEMP TABLE FOR ORACLE EDD.

Pre-installation Requirements

The minimum patch set level must be OFS DI Application Pack v8.1.1.0.0.

Installing this Release

To install this release, follow these steps:

1. Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 36970010 under the Patches & Updates tab.

2. Download the 36970010_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA server in Binary mode.

3. Shut down all the OFSAAI Services. For more information, see the Start or Stop Infrastructure Services.

4. Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

unzip -a <name of the file to be extracted>

For example: unzip -a 36970010_GENERIC.zip

NOTE: The "-a" option is mandatory to unzip the patch.
If you notice the error message: “unzip: not found [No such file or directory”, before the package is installed, contact your UNIX administrator.

5. Assign RWX (755) permissions to the folder by executing the command:

chmod -R 755 OFS_DIH

6. Navigate to the following directory:

<>/OFS_DIH/bin

7. Execute the install command:

./setup.sh

8. Verify the patch installation logs in the following directory:

<>/OFS_DIH/logs

Contact Oracle support in case of any error.

Post-installation Steps

After successful installation, perform the below steps:

1. Restart the DIH web service.

2. Unpublish the connectors that has been impacted due to this issue.

3. Publish the connectors as required.
