This mbean is used to configure a Trigger (Usage limit) based policy for a resource type.

getValue

long getValue()

Gets the upper-limit value of the resource assigned to the Trigger configuration.

Returns:

long The upper-limit value of resource usage configured in the Trigger.

Changes to this property are dynamic and thus take effect immediately without restarting the server or partition.

setValue

void setValue(long value)

Assigns the upper-limit value of the resource to the Trigger configuration. The default value is only defined to act as a placeholder. The user must explicitly set value for the Trigger.

Parameters:

value - The new upper-limit value of resource usage to be configured in the Trigger.

Default Value:

Long.MAX_VALUE

Changes to this property are dynamic and thus take effect immediately without restarting the server or partition.

Minimum Value:

1

getAction

java.lang.String getAction()

Gets the configured recourse action that needs to be taken when the usage of resource crosses the value specified in getValue().

Returns:

The recourse action to be taken when the usage of resoure crosses the value specified in the getValue().

Changes to this property are dynamic and thus take effect immediately without restarting the server or partition.

setAction

void setAction(java.lang.String action)

Sets the configured recourse action that needs to be taken when the usage of resoure crosses the value specified in getValue(). The default value is only defined to act as a placeholder. The user must explicitly set action for the Trigger.

Parameters:

action - Sets the configured recourse action that needs to be taken when the usage of resoure crosses the value specified in getValue(). See the class documentation of RCMResourceMBean for a set of allowed recourse actions types. Refer the Resource type MBean to obtain the subset of valid recourse action types for the Resource type.

Default Value:

"notify"
