Creating and Configuring LDAP User Groups not Identical to Default Gateway User Groups

When LDAP user groups are not identical to the default Gateway user groups, proceed as follows:

  1. Ensure the Primavera Gateway domain is running.
  2. Sign in to the WebLogic Administration Server Console for the Gateway domain:
    1. In a browser, enter the following location:

      http://<hostname>:<port>/console

      Where, hostname and port is the hostname and port of your Primavera Gateway domain in WebLogic. The default port is 7001.

    2. Enter the WebLogic administrator user name and password.
  3. In the Change Center pane, select Lock and Edit before you make any changes to the domain.
  4. Select Security Realms.
  5. In the right pane:
    1. Select myrealm.
    2. In the General tab under the Configuration tab, select the Use Authorization Providers to Protect JMX Access checkbox.
  6. Restart the domain.
  7. In the Change Center pane:
    1. Select Lock and Edit before you make any further changes to the domain.
    2. Select Security Realms.
  8. In the right pane:
    1. Select myrealm.
    2. Select the Realm Policies tab under the Roles and Policies tab.
    3. Select JMX Policy Editor and then select Next three times.
    4. Select Operations: Permission to Invoke.
    5. Select the Create Policy button.
    6. Select the Allow access to everyone checkbox and then select Save.
  9. Restart the domain.
