An EPS code is required for a project in Primavera Cloud only if you wish to transfer its data to P6 EPPM. Having this information ensures the project is located at a specific EPS node within P6 EPPM when the data transfer is completed.
Complete the following tasks if you want to assign a P6 EPS code for:
- all projects in a workspace
- few projects in a workspace, or
- multiple projects located in multiple workspaces
To assign P6 EPS Codes to projects in Primavera Cloud:
- Run the master data synchronization, Create P6 EPS in Primavera Cloud as EPS Code from Primavera Gateway to replicate the EPS hierarchy from P6 EPPM in a Primavera Cloud workspace of your choice.
For more details, see Running Create P6 EPS in Primavera Cloud as EPS Code Synchronization.
- In the targeted Primavera Cloud workspace, assign an EPS code from the hierarchy to each project.
For more details, see Assigning P6 EPS Codes to Projects in Primavera Cloud.
