To associate P6 EPS codes with projects in Primavera Cloud, run the Create P6 EPS in Primavera Cloud as EPS Code synchronization. This synchronization will make the P6 EPS code available in the targeted Primavera Cloud workspace.
Note: You can set up a schedule to run this synchronization daily, weekly, monthly or as needed to ensure new EPS codes in P6 EPPM are made available in the targeted Primavera Cloud workspace.
To associate projects in Primavera Cloud with EPS codes from P6 EPPM:
- Sign in to Gateway as an administrator or user.
- In the sidebar, select Synchronizations.
- Select the synchronization, Create P6 EPS in Primavera Cloud as EPS Code, and then select Edit....
- In the Flow and Deployment step of the synchronization wizard:
- Select a P6 deployment from the Source list.
- Select a Primavera Cloud deployment from the Destination list, and select Next.
- In the Parameters step:
- In the Workspace Location, enter the ID of the workspace where the projects are located in Primavera Cloud. These projects can then be associated with an EPS code.
- Select Next.
- In the Summary step, review the changes, select Save and exit the wizard.
- Select Run to run the synchronization.
- On the Monitoring page, select the row of the Job number associated with the synchronization and view the Status.
The job status displays Completed.
EPS codes from P6 EPPM are now available to all projects in the Primavera Cloud workspace selected in the synchronization wizard. You can now associate any project in this workspace with an EPS code.
