Running Send Primavera Cloud Project Data to P6 for Schedule Synchronization

To send a project's schedule data from Primavera Cloud to P6 using Gateway, complete the following prerequisites and procedure.

Prerequisites

In Primavera Cloud, create a project with the following information:

  1. Sign in to Primavera Cloud as a user with Add / Edit permissions for Project, Resource, and Schedule.
  2. Select a Workspace.
  3. Create a project with relevant Calendar, Resources, Roles, WBS, Activities, Relationships, and Assignments.

Procedure

To send a project's schedule data from Primavera Cloud to P6 EPPM:

  1. Sign in to Gateway as an administrator or user.
  2. In the sidebar, select Synchronizations.
  3. In the Synchronization Name column, select Send Primavera cloud project data to P6 for Schedule, and then select Edit....
    1. From the Source list, select the Primavera Cloud deployment where your source data resides.
    2. From the Destination list, select the P6 deployment where your data is to be sent.
    3. Select Next.
    4. In the Primavera Cloud Project Filter field, select values as follows:
      1. From the Fields list, select Project Ids.

        You can also select projects using Lookup in Primavera Cloud, Workspace Ids, Project Code Type Name, Project Code or Project Status.

        If you chose Lookup in Primavera Cloud, see Searching Projects in Source Deployments.

      2. In the Value field, enter the project ID whose project data is to be sent to P6 EPPM.
    5. In the EPS Location field, enter the EPS ID where the project data from Primavera Cloud is to be located within P6 EPPM.

      Note: If the project in Primavera Cloud is already associated with an EPS code, and you now enter a different EPS code for this parameter in Gateway, then the EPS code assigned in Primavera Cloud takes precedence when you run this synchronization.

    6. Specify values for any other parameters that display in this step.
    7. Select Save and exit the wizard.
  4. On the Synchronizations page, select Run.
  5. In the sidebar, select Monitoring.
  6. Select the job # of the synchronization job and confirm the Status displays Completed.
