The following are necessary in order to setup Primavera Portfolio Management in Oracle Cloud Marketplace.
Verify Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Accounts
This documentation assumes you have obtained an Oracle Cloud Infrastructure account. If not, consult the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Documentation.
See Request and Manage Free Oracle Cloud Promotions.
Verify Oracle Cloud Account Credentials
About your Oracle Cloud Compute account.
See Signing in to the Console in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure documentation.
Tenancy
Services and Policies
You must have access to these services:
- Create and manage compartments
- View resource manager stack jobs
- Create compute instances
- Create VCNs and Subnets
- Create Load Balancer
- Create Bastion.
In order to access the services, need to create policies, see the following:
Service Limits, Quotas, Policies, and Events
Compartment
Regions and availability domains
Sufficient quota in target region and target availability domain should be available. See Regions and Availability Domains.

Compute Shapes
For more information regarding compute shapes, see Oracle Cloud Marketplace Configurations in the Primavera Portfolio Management Hardware and Sizing Guide
VCNs and Subnets
SSH Key Pairs
The Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Oracle Database Virtual Machine uses Linux as its operating system and authentication requires a SSH public key.
Create a secure shell (SSH) key pair so that you can access the compute instances in your Oracle Database Server domains.
A key pair consists of a public key and a corresponding private key. When you create a domain using Oracle WebLogic Server for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, you specify the public key. You then access the compute instances from an SSH client using the private key.
See Creating a Key Pair in the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure documentation.
Bastion
Connect to bastion only to access the instances of private subnet. Only required when deploying the application on a private subnet.
Load Balancer
Only required when deploying the application on a private subnet.
Getting Started with Load Balancing
Note: In Load Balancing, private IPs should be added along with Listener port.
Data
If you intend to import your existing Primavera Portfolio Management database, you must create a database dump (.dmp) of your Primavera Portfolio Management database.
Other tools used in these procedures:
- PuTTY
- VNC Viewer
- Oracle SQL Developer
- FTP Software
Note: Before you provision an instance, you can estimate the cost of the resources and services to use in your instance. See Oracle Cloud Cost Estimator.
