Entering Data in a Table

Tables enable you to view data in an efficient manner. The arrangement of data in columns and rows allows you to easily scan the data and make comparative evaluations and summaries.

The following types of data-entry cells exist in a Table:

To enter data in a Table:

  1. Select the form in which you wish to enter data. For instructions, refer to Displaying a Form. Click the name of the tab you want to display.
  2. Double-click a cell in the table in which you wish to enter data.
  3. Enter the new value.

    Or

    Click the drop-down list arrow button to display a drop-down list of available values or indicators and select the desired option.

  4. Repeat steps 2-3 as necessary.

    Note: Press TAB or ENTER to move from one cell to another when entering values.

  5. From the toolbar, click Save.
