Any data issues identified in the OFSAA framework can be resolved through the Inbox->Task option by creating Issues and appropriate Actions. Data Issues such as Data Quality failures or Variance breaches or even known issues can be fixed using the Adjustment Framework option in Action. The adjustment entries posted are audit trailed and data traceability enabled.
The Inbox menu lists all the Tasks that is, Issue and Actions for a user. Issues can be created by the user or by a DG process or Reassigned tasks from another user. Actions are remediation tasks created by the user to resolve an issue. An Action can involve an Adjustment process to close the Action or Issue. The notification tab lists the latest tasks for the user.
Inbox displays the summary of issues and actions performed over the last 14 days.
To log an issue or view or create tasks, issues, and actions, perform the following steps:
1. From Financial Services Data Governance for US Regulatory Reporting window navigate Inbox and then click Go To Tasks.

to log an issue. The create window is displayed.

6. Enter Issue Name and Description.
7. Select the Category from the drop-down list:
a. Data Authorization
b. Data Privacy
c. Data Security
d. Data Accuracy
e. Data Availability
f. Timeliness
8. Select the Criticality:
g. High
h. Medium
i. Low
9. Choose the Target Date from the Calendar .
10. Choose the Execution Date
from the Calendar .
11. Select the Source from the drop-down list:
j. Key Indicators
k. Controls
12. Select the Owner from the drop-down list.
13. Enter Comments if any.
14. Select a file or drag and drop a file to Attach a document.
15. Click Save.
A new issue is created and is displayed under the inbox summary screen.
16. Click an existing issue.
17. The following window is displayed.

19. Click Activity. Any comment that gets logged for an issue is displayed here.
20. Click Details. See section Editing an Issue for information.
21. Click Actions. See section Creating an Action for information.
22. Click Controls. You can create an action for an existing issue.

The Control window is displayed with the control
details that can be linked to the issue.

25. Select the controls and click Link. At any point in time, you can search for control in the search field.
26. Select an issue or an action and click .
A confirmation message is displayed. Click Yes to delete or click No to
cancel the deletion.
27. Note that, it is possible to delete an issue or an action that is in status ‘New’ and it is not possible to delete a closed issue or an action.

issue or an action to perform one of the following.
