This One-off Patch is released for Data Governance qualification on US Fed Regulatory Reporting Release v8.1.0.2.0.

Bug 34742356 - DG81027: COMPATIBILITY RELEASE WITH RESPECT TO AGILE RP USFED 8.1.1.1.13

Pre-installation Requirements

1. The minimum patch set level must be OFS DGUSRR Application Pack v8.1.0.2.6 and US Fed Regulatory Reporting Release v8.1.1.1.13.

2. Before starting the installation of this one-off patch, run the following pre-script in the Config Schema:

Installing this Release

To install the release, follow these steps:

1. Log in to My Oracle Support, and search for 34350536 under the Patches & Updates Tab.

2. Download the 34742356_GENERIC.zip archive file and copy it to your OFSAA Server in Binary Mode.

3. Shut down all the OFSAAI Services.

4. Extract the contents of the patch archive file using the command:

Unzip <name of the file to be extracted>

For example: unzip 34742356_GENERIC.zip

5. Assign RWX (755) permissions to the folder by executing the command:

· chmod -R 755 OFS_DGS

· chmod -R 755 appsLibConfig

6. In the Installer Kit path /appsLibConfig/conf:

a. Update the params.conf file with the Upload Model Parameter as 0.

7. Navigate to the following directory:

<>/OFS_DGS/bin

8. Execute the install command:

./setup.sh SILENT

9. Verify the patch installation logs in the following directory:

<>/OFS_DGS/logs

10. After successful installation, copy the following files from Kit Path to the FICHOME Path:

For Tomcat:

11. Delete the existing EAR or WAR file present in the $FIC_HOME/ficweb directory.

12. Generate the application EAR or WAR file and redeploy the application on your Configured Web Application Server. For more information, see Create and deploy EAR/WAR files.

13. After the successful installation, restart all OFSAAI Services.

Post-installation Steps

The post-installation steps required for this release are as follows:

1. Execute the MERGE_FCT_KRI_DEF batch.

For more details, see the Merging Key Indicators Section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Management Pack Installation Guide 8.1.0.2.0.

2. Execute the FCT_KRI_DEF_UPDATE batch.

For more details, see the Updating Measures for Key Indicators Section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Management Pack Installation Guide 8.1.0.2.0.

3. Execute the DGS_KI_MDRM_UPDATE batch.

This batch is used to convert work cells to normal cells. Enter the current system date as the MISDATE for this batch.

4. Execute the KI_CONFIGURATION batch.

For more details, see the Key Indicator Configuration Section in the Oracle Financial Services Data Management Pack Installation Guide 8.1.0.2.0.

5. Execute the following script in the Atomic schema:

DGS_81027_atomic_post_script.sql
